Technical evaluation

A shared question.
A testable answer.

Tell us what your simulator needs to do, and where the present approach reaches its limits. We can begin with one representative model and a question worth testing.

You do not need a finished evaluation plan to get in touch. A few sentences about your simulator and the problem you want to solve are enough to begin.

01 / Define the scope

When you are ready to scope the work.

Use these five topics as a working brief. Leave unknowns open for discussion. This is a starting framework—not an offer, fixed schedule or promise of qualification.

Model and boundary
Host product / version, reusable LTI region, ports, input data, event families and expected model changes.
Reference and acceptance
Reference solver and settings, input hold, units, comparison windows, error definitions and acceptance thresholds agreed before testing.
Target and performance
Operating system, CPU / accelerator, precision, history, preparation cost, memory, complete host runtime and real-time requirements if applicable.
Integration and operations
Initialization, trial / commit, reset and shutdown, failure paths, diagnostics, upgrades and ownership of the host adapter.
Delivery and commercial scope
Runtime / Circuit / add-on composition, internal use or OEM redistribution, release identity, supported targets and support responsibilities.

02 / Agree on the outcome

Evidence a team can review.

Agree which of these artifacts the evaluation will produce, who owns them, and how acceptance is decided:

  1. Test plan

A named model, configuration, reference and acceptance criteria.

  2. Comparison record

Accuracy by window, timing with measurement scope, memory and preparation costs. Preserve unfavorable results.

  3. Qualification decision

Passed criteria, open issues, integration responsibilities and the next delivery decision.

Targets without qualified measurements remain open evaluation items. Fees, schedule, service levels and redistribution rights require agreement.
